CA (Certificate Authority)
- Description
-
A certificate authority (CA) issues and signs digital certificates. A CA certificate is a digital certificate issued by a CA and is used to verify the identity of remote servers and clients. CAs and CA certificates are an integral part of public key infrastructure (PKI) and ensure that data transmitted over the internet is secure.
NXLog Platform uses digital certificates to serve the NXLog Platform UI and API requests, as well as for all agent communication. In addition, NXLog Agent network modules support TLS/SSL encryption to prevent malicious actors from viewing or altering data in transit.
