Access rules

Access rules act as a second-level filter on what log types a particular user can see in NXLog Platform.

The first-level filter is the user’s assigned role(s). A user must have at least one of the following roles to see log data:

Access rules allow you to assign fine-grained permissions on which log types a user can view. For example, you can give one user access to Linux logs and another to Windows logs only.

You must have the Superadmin role to create access rules. See Create an access rule for more information.
