Create your first NXLog Agent configuration
NXLog Platform provides two methods to create your NXLog Agent configuration. The first is via the drag-and-drop configuration builder and the second is to manually create a configuration file.
The former is easier to use for new users and provides the benefit of visualizing the data flow as you build. The latter might be more comfortable for advanced users, especially with more advanced use-cases and configurations.
Both tutorials will guide you in creating an NXLog Agent configuration that collects Windows events and saves them to a file. By completing any of these tutorials, you will gain an understanding of the configuration’s structure and components, and be able to apply your knowledge to collect logs from any source and forward them to the destinations you desire.
