OTel is an open-source observability framework that defines a standard method for collecting and exporting telemetry data. OTel components include APIs and SDKs for instrumenting code, the OpenTelemetry Protocol (OTLP), which defines the data format, and the OpenTelemetry Collector, which receives, processes, and exports telemetry data.
NXLog Agent fully supports OTel and provides the OpenTelemetry Collector and OpenTelemetry Exporter modules.
