agentless log collection

What is agentless log collection?

Description

Agentless log collection is a technique that collects logs remotely without installing an agent on the log source. It is mainly used when agent-based log collection is not feasible because of technical, administrative, or compliance restrictions.

In the world of NXLog

In this log collection mode, a server or device sends log data to an NXLog agent over the network using native transport protocols. NXLog processes the logs it receives and forwards them to their destination.
