Input Modules

Use input modules to collect events from your log sources.

  • File Collect log events from files, including files in recursive directory structures.

  • Windows Event Log Collect logs from a local or remote Windows Event Log on Windows Vista and newer.

  • UDP Receive logs over UDP. The module supports UDP datagrams and IP allow/block lists.

  • TCP Receive logs over TCP. A corresponding TLS/SSL module is also available.
